The Controls; are conducted by, in the accountability of the KBS Quality Control Department independent of manufacturing to make sure that all required applications are performed. For that purpose our quality control personels provide equipments and knowledge. KBS has numerously equipments, templates and devices for quality control and tests. The reliability of these templates, equipments and devices are inspected and calibrated by the internationally accredited firms. If requested, controls can be performed by a third part inspection company.

- Stress Relieving
- Normalization
- Normalization and Annealing
- Hardening

or according to the customer Work Order Form.

 

 

The natural component of Cold Forming, Heat Treatment Furnaces of KBS are approved by TUV. KBS is able to fulfill every type of condition defined by international standards for, Stainless Austenitic, Carbon Steel, Duplex, Super Duplex Types are in accordance with the international standards. KBS heat treatment furnaces are inspected and calibrated by the internationally accredited companies in accordance with ASTM A 991 – SAE AMS 2750 – ISO 17763 – EN 746.

 

KBS also performs workmanship Heat Treatments according to the Work Order Form for Heat Treatments of customers in its own Furnaces.

 

Our new heat treatment furnace entered into service and its dimensions are 7x7x17meter. The furnace temperature is measured by NiCr-Ni (double elements) termocouples in accordance with IEC 584 standard at six zone. We can also attach seven test thermo couples to the workpiece in heat treatment. All temperature and time controls are performed by SIEMENS S7-300 PLC control system. Thermocouples and temperature indicators of the furnace are inspected and calibrated by the international accredited companies.
